So Much to be Thankful For

Even though this year has been god awful for most of us, there is still so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Although this holiday is not for about another week and a half I wanted to make this months post about what I am thankful for this year.

First off I am thankful for my friends and family. That's an easy one. My homies back in Texas and my few new ones out here in California. I am so beyond grateful that the friends I had back in Texas reach out to me all the time to ask how I am and to get caught up. I was surprised that so many of them wanted to stay updated every few weeks or so over FaceTime. And the fact that one of my best friends booked a flight out here one night impulsively over one of our FaceTime sessions makes me forever grateful for our friendship. I dropped her off at the airport to fly back home just the other day after a week of exploring and having the best time making even more memories, just California edition. I am beyond thankful for the good friends I have made out here. I am so lucky to have made friends I can trust. My family has also been a huge help in my life this first semester of college and I appreciate all they have done for me.

I am thankful for the beaches and sunsets for being one of my favorite parts of living in California. I am thankful for all the opportunities that have come my way. I am thankful for late night burrito runs, movie nights, and half price sushi.

Lastly, I am thankful for the people who read these posts and support me. Seriously, each one of y'all who reach out to let me know you read my post, or you liked it, or told me it made you feel something has made my day. Thank you thank you thank you<333
