A Golden Decade

When writing this I was sitting in a hotel room in Washington D.C. I had a flight home the next day, my clothes were still scattered across the room and in need of packing, and the clock was quickly approaching 11 that night. But there I was, typing up my very first blog post.

The past hour I had received a hit of inspiration and started typing as soon as possible (how cliche). For a while now I have been following another blogger/Insta Influencer/Youtuber. She has always been an idol of mine and recently I have become increasingly invested in her newly announced pregnancy. As I became consumed in her tell all blog post about how she kept the news hidden from her fans for SEVEN months it got me thinking. It's a new decade, what will come of me in the next ten years? I will be turning 18 this year. I have tons of changes lying ahead. But what will we all be reading of these posts in ten years? Will I have achieved my dream of owning a company? Will I have seen the world? Will I be married? Kids??? Who knows. Only time will tell. This is where I got the idea for this blog. I want this to be a sort of timeline of events or pieces of advice I want to share throughout this next decade. As an almost eighteen-year-old, with my whole life ahead of me, I want you all as readers to be able to relate to my posts whether they be about love, friendship, or hardships and know that you are not alone. I also want to use this blog as a way for me to be able to stay connected with my friends all over the world, wherever I may end up. I hope y'all join me on this journey, this decade is one I know I will want to remember... it is the Roaring 20s after all.
